JOLIET, IL- The WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler, and proud American patriot, Sgt. Slaughter visits Silver Cross Field Wednesday to help the JackHammers Salute our Troops. Sgt. Slaughter is one of the most recognizable WWE performers of all time and he loves his country. Come out tonight to help Slaughter and the Hammers take down the Rockford RiverHawks at 6:10 p.m. at Silver Cross Field.
Slaughter started his professional wrestling career 1975. During his time in professional wrestling he was a 4 time Heavyweight Champion! Before he became a wrestler he served time in the United States Military as a drill instructor. During his service he developed a great love for his country and a sense of patriotism which followed him throughout his Pro career and even into his post career life. The JackHammers are proud to have such a patriot helping them show their appreciation for the Troops.
In honor of our Troops the JackHammers will be having a post game 3-D Firework show. Bring out the entire family because after the JackHammers and RiverHawks finish their game all kids get to run the bases! Come out and Salute the troops with Sgt Slaughter and the Joliet JackHammers!
