Facing the Milwaukee Brewers top pick in the 2006 draft, Jeremy Jeffress (4-1) lasted just two thirds of an inning and allowed five runs on four hits and could not get out of the first inning for his first loss of the season.

The GreenJackets took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI single from Bobby Felmy scoring Emmanuel Burriss from third. Two batters later Tyler Graham connected for a one out RBI single scoring Ryan Rohlinger to take a 2-0 lead.

Snyder (9-2) allowed just three hits, walked two and struck out four in the win. Snyder retired the first 10 batters in a row and did not allow a hit over the first 4.1 innings of the game.
