Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals are back at First Arena this Friday, Jan. 28 and Sunday, Jan. 30 when they host the Wheeling Nailers and the Reading Royals. This weekend is the final chance to see Elmira at home before the team heads out west for six games.
The Jackals have had two tight games with the Nailers this season, with both games going to overtime and the Nailers earning the extra point with an extra-session win each game. Elmira fell to Wheeling on Oct. 22, 3-2, in a game that saw Justin Donati score his first two goals of the season. The Jackals ended a stretch of five games in six days with an overtime defeat to the Nailers in Wheeling on Nov. 7, 5-4.
Elmira defeated Reading, 6-3, in the last meeting between the two clubs at First Arena on Jan. 15. The win by the Jackals ended a nine-game regulation unbeaten streak for the Royals.

THUNDERSTICKS, RALLY TOWELS APLENTY THIS WEEKEND
This Friday, Collins & Walton will be giving away thundersticks at First Arena while Hapeman Rodriguez Chiropractic will be giving away rally towels on McDonald's Sunday to Jackals fans.
LAMPE REPRESENTS JACKALS IN ALL-STAR GAME TONIGHT
Eric Lampe will represent the Jackals tonight in the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic as the ECHL All-Stars take on the Bakersfield Condors in Bakersfield, Calif. A native of Madison, Wisc., Lampe has 19 points (10g-9a) in 22 games this season to lead Jackals rookies.

MEET THE JACKALS AT PATRICK'S AFTER FRIDAY'S GAME
After Friday's game, stop by and meet Jackals players at Patrick's, located at 303 College Ave. in downtown Elmira. Jackals players will be at Patrick's to meet fans and sign autographs, so make sure to swing by following Friday's game against Wheeling.
JACKALS ANNOUNCE TRANSACTIONS
The Jackals announced on Wednesday that they have placed defenseman Alan Dorich and goaltender Daren Machesney on waivers.
