Jackals Set to Host NHL 17 Tournament

ELMIRA, NY - November 2, 2016 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today details of their upcoming NHL 17 tournament, which will be held at Splitrock at First Arena on November 12, 2016 .
The single-elimination tournament will determine who represents the Jackals in the ECHL's league-wide EA Sports NHL 17 tournament, with a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Glens Falls, New York for the 2017 ECHL All-Star Classic in January.
The tournament entry fee is $15 for Jackals season ticket holders and $25 for everyone else. You can preregister by contacting Jessica Rhodes (Jessica@firstarena.com) or Keith Cummings (keith@firstarena.com) by calling 607-734-7825. Day-of registration will also be held at Splitrock on November 12, starting at 10 a.m., with the tournament beginning at 11 a.m.
All participants in the Jackals NHL 17 tournament will receive two vouchers to the Jackals Nov. 12 game and the Nov. 25 game. Players who advance to the semifinals will also receive a coupon for 20% off in the Jackals Den Merchandise Shop and two vouchers to the Dec. 2 Teddy Bear Toss game. In addition to being entered into the league-wide tournament, the winner will receive a Jackals jersey.
With assistance from Rainy Toad Gaming, the NHL 17 tournament will be held on the PS4. Participants must be 18 years or older and be U.S. citizens to enter. In the interest of fairness, all players must play as the Jackals during the tournament.
Splitrock at First Arena will be open for food orders and have a cash bar .
