Jackals Announce Resumption of Suspended Game

ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, in conjunction with the ECHL and the Reading Royals have announced that they will complete the suspended game against the Royals on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena .
It will be a special Two Buck Tuesday where seating will be general admission and all tickets are just $2. Hot dogs, fountain sodas, popcorn and draft beer are also just $2 the entire night.
As was previously announced, anyone with tickets to the original game on Feb. 17 will receive free admission to the make up game. In addition, anyone with tickets to the original game is entitled to a free ticket to any remaining Jackals home game. Bring the ticket stub from Feb. 17 to the First Arena Box Office to receive your ticket to the make up game and the other game of your choice.
Season ticket holders will have their seats reserved and just need to show their Feb. 17 ticket for entry into the rescheduled game on Feb. 28.
The game began last Friday, Feb. 17, but play was suspended because of an issue with the ice surface that could not be repaired in a timely manner. Play was halted with 6:07 remaining in the first period and the Royals leading 2-0.
The game will resume at that time and the teams will complete the remaining 46:07 of regulation time left on the clock.
