It's A Snap is Back

The Calgary Stampeders' annual It's A Snap women-only seminar presented by the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is now open for registration.

The 24th edition of the popular event will be held at McMahon Stadium on Wednesday, Apr. 30 and Thursday, May 1. Complete registration info is available at Stampeders.com

It's A Snap gives women an opportunity to learn more about football directly from Stampeders players and coaches. The evening includes the teaching of basic football concepts, on-field instruction and the opportunity to meet with Stamps players, coaches and fellow fans.

The program will again be presented in the two-option format that was successfully introduced a year ago. The Apr. 30 session is called It's A Snap 101 and is intended for beginners while the May 1 event is known as It's A Snap 201 and is designed for the more advanced football students including returning participants.

The $60 (plus GST) registration fee for either night includes an It's A Snap T-shirt, playbook, entry for door prize draws, Stamps Store discount coupon and two white-zone pre-season game tickets. In addition, $5 from every registration will go to the Stampeders Foundation.

It's A Snap 101

Participants in this seminar will learn from Stampeders coaches and players as they break down the basics of CFL football and share simple strategies used while preparing for games, leaving the students with a strong foundation of Stampeders football. The participants will be introduced to both classroom and on-field instruction led by Stampeders coaches and players.

It's A Snap 201

Participants in this seminar will learn from Stampeders coaches and players as they take the foundation already have in place and build upon it by delving deeper into play-call action as they work their way through the various intricacies used during the game. The participants will be introduced to both classroom and on-field instruction led by Stampeders coaches and players.
