AT THE DISH: Taylor Motter led the way for the Isotopes on Tuesday evening, finishing the night 4-for-5 with two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI. The home runs were numbers seven and eight on the season. The 31-year-old is hitting .294/.413/.694 with a team-best 1.108 OPS ... Two other Isotopes contributed home runs to Albuquerque's cause, with Brian Serven and Chris Owings each going deep ... Serven finished the game 2-for-4 with a double and three RBO while Owings finished the night 1-for-4 with three RBI and a walk ... Rio Ruiz continues to swing a hot bat for the Isotopes atop Warren Schaeffer's batting order, finishing the evening 3-for-4 with three doubles, a walk and three runs scored.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Albuquerque starter José Mujica (1-5, 7.31) recorded just the second quality start of the season for the Isotopes, tossing 6.0 innings without allowing an earned run. The right-hander did not issue a walk, while allowing two hits and striking out three ... The other quality start for Albuquerque came on May 20 vs. Oklahoma City when Kyle Freeland made a rehab start for the Isotopes.

TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes had 18 hits on Tuesday, the most for the team in a single game this season ... Motter's four hits were the most this season for an Isotope ... Albuquerque's four home runs most home were the second-most by the team in 2021 (five on June 7 vs. LV).

ON DECK: After a league-wide off-day on Wednesday, the Isotopes head to the biggest little city in the world, Reno, Nev., to take on the Aces (Triple-A Diamondbacks). Right-hander Dereck Rodriguez (1-1, 9.00) is slated to start game one of the six-game set on Thursday, with first pitch from Reno scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
