Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The second-place IronPigs (18-14) play Game Three of a four-game series against the third-place Toledo Mud Hens (15-18) at Fifth-Third Field. With a 3-1 win yesterday, the Pigs have won eight of their last 11 games and, over a longer span, are 11-6 in their last 17 contests. Lehigh Valley has started 4-2 on this eight-game, West Division road trip... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- are just 1-5 on their homestand and have gone just 2-7 in their last nine affairs following a season-high, seven-game win streak 4/25-5/1...
RHP Nate Bump (1-3, 6.53) will start for LHV against RHP Thad Weber (1-2, 5.19).
Bump, a former Mud Hen, is 5-0 with a 1.68 ERA in 7 GS at Fifth-Third Field.
First-pitch tonight is at 6:30 p.m.
