Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (26-41) play Game Three of a four-game series against the second-place SWB Yankees (39-29) -- New York's top affiliate. With a 4-1 loss last night, the 'Pigs have now dropped six of their last nine games. Still, they're 8-8 in their last 16 affairs... Scranton/Wilkes-Barre -- which previously swept Indy at home -- has now won five of its last six games. Prior to that sweep, the Yanks had gone just 3-7 in their previous 10 games.
RHP Nelson Figueroa (2-0, 0.00) will start for LHV against RHP Tim Redding (1-2, 3.52).
First-Pitch is at 6:35 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park and features a Reggy the Purple Party Dude appearance.
Rude Neighbors: SWB now leads the overall series vs. LHV, 27-10 (.730).
