Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (13-21) play Game Two of a four-game series at Coolray Field against the second-place Gwinnett Braves (16-18) -- Atlanta's top affiliate. With a 3-0 loss last night, the 'Pigs have dropped two straight games and are just 2-7 in their last nine games. The Pigs also fell to 1-4 on this eight-game, South Division road trip... Gwinnett snapped a three-game skid after falling in the final three games of their series at Pawtucket -- and are now 6-1 in their last seven home games. Still, the Braves are just 2-6 in their past eight affairs following a season-high, five-game winning streak.
RHP Drew Carpenter (3-3, 3.72) will start for LHV against RHP Chris Resop (3-1, 2.27).
First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
