Aberdeen IronBirds News Release
Aberdeen, MD - The Aberdeen IronBirds today announced that playoff tickets will go on sale to the General Public on Wednesday, September 4th at 9:00 am. Fans interested in purchasing tickets can visit our box office at Ripken Stadium, call 410-297-9292, or order online at ironbirdsbaseball.com.
The IronBirds' Magic Number is two, meaning that any combination of two Aberdeen wins, two Brooklyn losses, or one of each, would give the IronBirds the McNamara Division Title.
The New York-Penn League's playoff format features a Best-of-3 Semi-Final round followed by a Best-of-3 Championship Series. The champions of the league's three divisions, plus the club with the best record among non-division winners will qualify for the post-season.
Ticket prices are as follows:
Club Box: $28.00
Premium Box: $17.00
Field Box: $15.00
Loge Box: $13.50
Terrace Box: $12.50
Reserve Box: $10.50
In the event that less post season games are played than tickets purchased, fans have one of two options:

2 Have amount refunded via check within 30 days (convenience fees non-refundable)
The IronBirds are closing in on their first playoff berth in franchise history, now in their 12th season. "It's an exciting time to be an IronBirds' fan," said General Manager Brad Cox. "It has been a fun summer watching IronBirds' Manager Matt Merullo and his team succeed on the field and we look forward to seeing them make a deep run in the post-season."
