Milwaukee Mustangs
The Milwaukee Iron will be on the road tonight as they go to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Horsemen. The Horsemen enter the game at 1-2, and the Iron enter the game at 1-3.
The Horsemen are coming off a 68-62 lose to the Florida Firecats and the Iron are coming off a 50-34 lose to the Peoria Pirates. So both teams will be hungry to get a victory tonight. Iron quaterback Tyler Donovan was injured 2 weeks ago and did not play last week. It is unclear whether he will play this week or not. If he doesn't, Shane Adler will get the start. Wide Receiver Kellen Allen is still on injured reserve so CoCo Blalock will see more action at receiver now that Allen is out. CoCo played very well last week against Peoria.
The Horsemen run an offense that you rarely see in the af2, the Horsemen run most of there offense out of the shotgun and have 285 pound Jared Lorezen at quarterback and 300 pound Demtrius Forney at fullback. Many teams in the af2 have had a hard time trying to stop their shotgun offense and it is something the Iron will have to figuire out if they want to win this game.
Gametime is at 6:00 CST and you can watch all the action on Nifty-TV.
