
Irmo's Aaron White & Lexington's Jared Kirven Return in 2021

Tuesday, the Blowfish announced the signing of two Lexington County natives to the 2021 roster.
Jared Kirven, a catcher from the College of Charleston returns for his third season at The Lex. Kirven was named First Team All-CPL in 2020, finishing the season with a .337 batting average, a team leading 11 doubles, and 21 RBI. Kirven played high school baseball at Lexington High.
Aaron White is also returning to the Blowfish in 2021. White, a graduate of Irmo High School, is currently a pitcher for the Winthrop Eagles. White was a fixture in the Blowfish rotation last season, starting four games and finishing the season with 28 strikeouts which was the fourth highest on the pitching staff.
"Bringing Jared and Aaron back in 2021 is a tremendous foundational step for our club," assistant General Manager Justin Hall stated. "Jared's eye at the plate allowed him to take the CPL by storm in 2020 and we look forward to Aaron continuing to build on his quality starts from the latter half of 2020."
