November 29, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Iowa Wild News Release
DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Wild, in conjunction with Cassadee Pope, announced Tuesday evening the 2012 The Voice winner will perform live after the Iowa Wild home game at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, presented by Principal©.
After last year's Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Academy of Country Music Award nomination for Vocal Event of The Year, both for her #1 duet with Chris Young, "Think of You", Cassadee Pope has had a momentous 2017. Her recent SUMMER EP debuted new music for eager fans and dominated the iTunes #1 Country spot upon release with the title track's music video garnering over 5 million views. Last year, Cassadee was nominated for a 2016 People's Choice Award for Favorite Female Country Artist. Her chart-topping debut album FRAME BY FRAME produced the breakout hit "Wasting All These Tears," which sold over 1 million downloads and solidified the powerhouse vocalist as part of a distinct group of solo female Country artists to score PLATINUM certification of a debut single. She has previously toured with Superstars Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker and Chris Young.
The concert night is also sponsored by 96.9 The Bull, AVS Concepts, Jim Beam Vanilla and Catch Des Moines.
