Iowa Cubs Tickets On Sale Tuesday

Individual game tickets for the Iowa Cubs' 2005 Pacific Coast League baseball season will go on sale beginning Tuesday morning at Principal Park.
Tickets for all 72 home games are available for purchase in person at the box office or by phone between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans also may purchase tickets on-line at www.iowacubs.com.
Ticket prices remain the same as last season: adults are $10 for club box seats, $8 for field box seats and reserved grandstand seats, and $6 for general admission. Ticket prices for children (13-under) are $10 for club box seats, $8 for field box seats, $6 for reserved grandstand seats, and $4 for general admission.
The defending American Conference champion Iowa Cubs open the home season April 15 against the Albuquerque Isotopes. Iowa will compete in the new North Division of the conference along with Omaha, Nashville and Memphis. The new South Division includes the Round Rock (Texas) Express (who replace the Edmonton Trappers in the PCL) along with New Orleans, Oklahoma and Albuquerque.
The I-Cubs' new on-line ticket system will allow fans to be able to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home. All fans will be able to e-mail their tickets to friends through their own ticket management account.
"The new system is going to be great for our fans," Iowa Cubs Assistant General Manager Jim Nahas said. "It will make it easier and more convenient for our fans to pick the best seats for each game, and to get those tickets into the hands of friends should they be unable to use those tickets."
On-line ticket ordering begins Tuesday morning as well. Season tickets and mini-plan packages are also still available for purchase.
