Invasion Take A Bite Out Of The Dawgs

Cary, NC-- In the Continental Basketball League season opener, Jonathon Moore had a team high 29 points with former Sea Dawg Chuck Ward adding 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Cary Invasion to a 101-95 victory over the Wilmington Sea Dawgs.

The game was tight for the duration as neither team held a lead of more than eight points.

For Wilmington, Mike Evanovich had a game high 33 points and added six boards; Masevai Davis added 18.

The Invasion are in action again on May 13th as they take on Wilmington at the Herbert Young Arena in Cary. Tip time is set for 7:00 with the doors opening at 6:30. For ticket information go to www.caryinvasion.com

Notes--

--Wilmington shot 47.1 percent from the field while Cary shot 43 percent. Wilmington out rebounded the Invasion 40-30. --Fans were admitted free of charge to Friday night's game to showcase the Invasion in a contest that was originally scheduled to be a closed scrimmage.
