Invasion All Over Crossover

Cary Invasion News Release


The Cary Invasion beat the Fayetteville Crossover by a score of 151 - 125 at the J.D. Fuller Center in Fayetteville Tuesday night. The Invasion (10 - 0) took control of the game early, scoring 46 points in the first quarter. Cary built a lead of 22 points by the middle of the third quarter, only to see it fade to 12 points early in the fourth. But, a flurry of offense and defense by the Invasion took the lead to 28 points late in the fourth.

Cary never trailed in the game.

Seven players scored in double figures for the Invasion.

Cary plays next again at Fayetteville on Friday, June 17th at 8 pm to complete the series against the Crossover.

The win secures home court advantage throughout the playoffs for the Invasion.

-- Five technical fouls were called in the game. Two players were ejected.
