Introducing Rattlers First Annual Club Tournament

The All Sask Classic will feature multiple age divisions with with registration open to teams from Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan>

The Saskatchewan Rattlers announced Wednesday their inaugural club basketball tournament, The All Sask Classic, which will take place in Saskatoon on Saturday April 1st and Sunday April 2nd. The tournament will feature teams of multiple age divisions from all over Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. The All Sask Classic will act as the kick off of the 2023 club basketball season.

The Rattlers aim to build on their successes from the Youth Camps introduced in 2022, that happen monthly across Saskatchewan. Each camp offers two hours of fun, while learning skills to succeed on the floor from Rattlers alumni, and members of the Saskatchewan Basketball community. Each participant receives a goodie bag, t-shirt, and a single game ticket to the upcoming Saskatchewan Rattlers season.

The All Sask Classic already has 20 teams registered across multiple age divisions including a coed U11, boys and girls in each U13, U15, and U18 divisions. Capacity for the tournament is limited, registration closes on March 24th 2023.

"We want to create a better basketball experience at the grassroots level." Said Rattlers Vice President, Brad Kraft "This tournament allows us to provide new and fun programming in the province at a time of year that clubs are just getting started."

LOCATION: Walter Murray Collegiate and Evan Hardy Collegiate

TIME: April 1 - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

April 2 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
