Rome, GA - The Intimidators (14-8) were set to put their three-game winning streak on the line at State Mutual Stadium against Rome but the rain had other ideas. The game scheduled for this afternoon in Rome was postponed due to rain. The Intimidators and Braves will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 6:00pm.
Tonight's scheduled starters will go in game one tomorrow. In game one, RHP Charlie Shirek (3-4, 3.44) takes the ball for Kannapolis against RHP Erik Cordier (0-0, 0.00) for the Braves. In the second game, RHP Johnnie Lowe (3-4, 4.76) makes the start for the I's up against LHP Cole Rohrbaugh (1-3, 6.54) for Rome.
The Intimidators wrap up the series in Rome with a doubleheader starting at 6:00pm. Coverage starts at intimidatorsbaseball.com with Dan Bumpus at 5:45pm. The Intimidators close out the seven-game roadtrip and are 3-2 thus far against Columbus and Rome.
