
Interactive 15-Foot Dinosaur to Visit Newark Bears on June 20

The Newark Bears are turning Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium into Jurassic Ballpark!
On June 20, a 15-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex will interact with fans beginning at 9:30 a.m. and throughout the day, as the Bears meet the New Jersey Jackals at 11:05 a.m. in a Can-Am League contest.
Prior to the game, the dinosaur will thrill fans by throwing out the game's ceremonial first pitch.
The T-Rex is visiting from Field Station: Dinosaurs, located in Secaucus, N.J., which is a world-class family attraction that combines cutting-edge science with the creative minds of great artists to create a one-of-kind experience that's thrilling, educational and fun.
"Kids love baseball, kids love dinosaurs and, apparently, dinosaurs love baseball too - especially the Newark Bears," said Field Station: Dinosaurs Executive Producer Guy Gsell. "Our T-Rex is ready to root, root, root for the home team at Riverfront Stadium."
