Inter Miami CF to Face El Salvador National Team During 2024 Preseason

MIAMI - Inter Miami CF announced today that it will take on the El Salvador national team at the Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador on Friday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET for the Club's first preseason match of 2024.

"We're excited to start announcing our preseason plans and preparations ahead of a thrilling 2024 campaign. We look forward to facing the El Salvador national team in what will be a good first test for our squad against the best players from the country," said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson.

Los Cuscatlecos are helmed by Rubén de la Barrera, a Spanish manager with extensive coaching experience at the club level. El Salvador, which often features players from MLS and other leagues in the region, most recently earned a pair of draws in friendlies against Curaçao in November. The team also competed in the 2023 editions of the Concacaf Gold Cup and Nations League earlier this year.
