Mixed news emerged from Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, as the players returned to training after Wednesday's 4-3 home defeat to the LA Galaxy.

Both Edson Buddle and Jared Watts left the midweek encounter early. Buddle, who reported tightness in his legs after the match, participated in full training on Saturday after the team had two days off.

Watts, meanwhile, had an MRI scan on Friday that revealed a grade 1 left hamstring strain. He was absent from training and spent the time doing rehab in the training room. He will be kept out of training while recovering, and until cleared by athletic training staff.

Vicente Sánchez also did not participate in training due to IT band tightness on the right side. An MRI revealed no structural damage, but showed a bone bruise, and he will take a few days' rest to recover fully before the match at Seattle on August 30.
