Inferno Announce Revised Schedule

Columbia, SC, July 22, 2003 – The Columbia Inferno announce a few changes to their 2003-2004 schedule due to contractual arena scheduling conflicts.

The Inferno, who were originally scheduled to play the Mississippi Sea Wolves on Friday, November 21st, has changed to Thursday, October 30th at 7:30pm. In addition, three home games have time changes. These changes include Sunday, January 18th vs. Greensboro Generals will move to a 3pm start (instead of 4pm), Saturday, January 24th vs. Florence Pride and Saturday, February 28th vs. Florence Pride each starting at 2pm (instead of 7:30pm).

The road game originally scheduled for Saturday, February 14th in Greensboro has been moved to Tuesday, January 13th at 7pm.

The Inferno, defending 2003 Southern Conference Champions, will play in the expanded ECHL's Eastern Conference in the newly aligned Southern Division along with Augusta, Charlotte, Florence, Florida, Greensboro, Greenville, Gwinnett, Roanoke and South Carolina.

Columbia will play one pre-season home game this year against the Florence Pride on Friday, October 10th at 7:30pm. They will be on the road on Saturday, October 11th in Florence and Monday, October 13th in Charlotte.

The Inferno will play host to 36 regular season home games at the Carolina Coliseum with opening night on Friday, October 17th against the Florence Pride. Individual tickets will go on sale September 15th by calling 251-2222 or visiting any Capital Ticket Outlets, including the Coliseum Box Office.
