Indy Eleven to Serve as Presenting Sponsor of Mayor Hogsett Indy International Soccer Cup

INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven today announced it will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Mayor Hogsett Indy International Soccer Cup set to take place on Saturday, July 15.
The free event, which is also endorsed and partnered by Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, will take place at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex (7225 W 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is open to teams with age brackets ranging from 7-10, 11-13 and 14-16 years of age.
"We're excited to partner with the Mayor's Indy International Soccer Cup and to continue to foster positive relationships between Indy Eleven and the Indianapolis soccer community," Greg Stremlaw, Indy Eleven President and Chief Executive Officer said. "This event is a great way to celebrate and honor the growing international community in Indianapolis and will help us to further grow into a truly international and multi-cultural city through soccer."
Ruth Morales, Director, Mayor's Office of International & Latino Affairs, indicated, "By hosting the Mayor's Indy International Soccer Cup and other events like it, we will garner a great deal of positive interest and support from other countries and cities, which will lead to mutually beneficial economic and educational relationships."
The event is hosted by United Soccer Alliance of Indiana (USAi), one of the Eleven's Youth Soccer Program partners. As part of the program, Indy Elevensponsors a grass roots initiative growing accessibility to the sport across Indiana by supporting recreational soccer programs at partnering youth soccer clubs. This program is designed to support more than 16,000 rec-level players from programs across the Hoosier State and currently includes 15 member clubs.
Indy Eleven is committed to expanding the game by offering opportunities such as the Indy International Soccer Cup and Youth Soccer Programs for youth soccer players across the state of Indiana and beyond.
