
Indy Eleven Players to Pack Meals as Part of Today's National Blessings in a Backpack Day

INDIANAPOLIS- Indy Eleven Professional Soccer will help give the boot to food insecurity this afternoon by teaming up with the Blessings in a Backpack organization on its national awareness day.
Indy Eleven players will take part in today's "National Blessings in a Backpack Day" by packing meals in the team's clubhouse facility at Grand Park in Westfield at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET, which will follow the squad's 10:30 a.m. training session at the sports complex.
Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. The meals packaged this afternoon will go to students attending Tinley Collegiate Academy in Indianapolis.
