SAN DIEGO â Another exciting season of Riptide football is upon us and fans will have their chance to buy tickets for individual games beginning Wednesday, Feb. 25. Tickets start as low as $12 for terrace level seating and the deals get even better if you bring out a group of 20 or more.
2004 brings with it many changes throughout the Riptide organization, most notably the addition of new head coach Mouse Davis. The former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator is credited with helping develop the "Run âN Shoot" offense as well as the "West Coast" offense, now employed by many NFL teams.
Along with the new head coach, this season will feature new players, new opponents and a new style of play that is sure to supply plenty of excitement. But even with all the changes occurring at the Sports Arena, many fan-favorites like QB Kane Claunch and DS Kenny Haslip will still be back to help the âTide complete their quest to bring the Arena Cup to San Diego.
Games of note include the home opener on Apr. 9 when the Green Bay Blizzard, coached by former Packer Brian Noble, help the Riptide to kick off the 2004 season at the Sports Arena. Former âTide coach Cree Martin and the Central Valley Coyotes then come to town on Apr. 23, the first intra-division home game of the season. San Diego will also welcome the Hawaiian Islanders and Bakersfield Blitz twice during the regular season, and will also host the two-time af2 champion Quad City Steamwheelers (May 22) as well as another visit from the Coyotes to close out the season on July 30.

Front Row: $50
Premium (lower loge): $25
Center Loge: $20
End Zone: $15
Terrace: $12

Fans still have a chance to catch all the exciting Arena Football action with Riptide season tickets. Packages for all eight home games start at just $96 for terrace level seats or you can get up close and personal with front row seats for just $400.
