Indianapolis Splits Town With A Split

The Lynx offence sputtered and Indianapolis took advantage of the high winds to smack some extra-base hits as the Indians beat the Lynx 4-0.

The loss drops the Lynx record to 10-9 while the Indians improve to 13-9.

Player Of The Game: Indy starter Bryan Bullington held the Lynx scoreless over his 7.0 innings of work, collecting his fourth win of the season.

Game Recap: The first four innings of Monday afternoon's game between the Lynx and Indians was a seesaw battle between two good pitchers. Lynx starter Brian Mazone and Indy pitcher Bryan Bullington matched each other pitch by pitch en route to a 0-0 draw. The Indians got on the board in the top of the 5th inning with two runs. They extended that lead in the top of the 7th on a two-run home run. The Lynx offence, on the other hand, never put a rally together and were held to five hits.

Next Game: The Lynx welcome the Louisville Bats for the first of a four-game series Tuesday night at Lynx Stadium. Game time is 6:05 pm..
