Indiana Alley Cats Maintain Number One Ranking

December 13, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Indiana AlleyCats News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The Indiana Alley Cats continued their unbeaten streak to stay atop the Pit Bull Power Rankings for the American Basketball Association while the Gallup Talons stayed close behind with the league's only other unbeaten record. The rankings are now sponsored by Pit Bull Energy Drink and Energy Bars, one of the ABA's great sponsors. According to James L. Robinson, President/CEO of Hip Hop Beverage Corp, "It is only fitting for us to sponsor the power rankings - these are the teams that are showing great energy with their outstanding records - and our products certainly are designed for energy boosts. We pleased and proud to enter our second year of sponsorship of the ABA."

1. Indiana Alley Cats 2. Gallup Talons 3. Southern California Legends 4. Aoshen Olympian 5. Maryland Nighthawks 6. Rochester Razorsharks 7. Newark Express 8. NE Penn Breakers 9. Florida Pit Bulls 10. Joe Newman, ABA CEO added, "Anyone who has attended an ABA game knows how good these teams are and how talented the players are. Some of the performances are truly outstanding, but what makes the ABA so unique, so interesting is the "team play." When you look at the assists in a game - 20- 30 assists, you realize how well the players are working together rather than one-on-one. Most of the games are very close, many overtimes, 2 and 3 point games. Really fun. And the Pit Bull Power Rankings can change quickly."
