
Inclusive TOPSoccer Program Kicks off Saturday, September 11

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC continues its mission of making a difference in its community, kicking off TFC Academy's third annual TOPSoccer program this Saturday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at The Clubhouse Fields in Statesboro, Ga.
TOPSoccer is a community training program for young athletes with disabilities, ages four to 20. Through its partnership with TOPSoccer, TFC Academy aims to enable young athletes to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage and self-esteem through the sport of soccer.
The club partnered with TOPSoccer in 2019, and the program has since grown to three locations in two different states, with camps in Statesboro and Savannah, Ga., and Bluffton, SC.
The TOPSoccer program runs throughout the fall with five one-hour sessions. Registration is ongoing and includes a Tormenta FC Academy jersey. In addition, the participants of the TOPSoccer program will be recognized on Oct. 1 at Tormenta FC's home game against Union Omaha. The professional side plays at home this Saturday, Sept. 11 as well, hosting North Texas SC at Erk Russell Park in Statesboro, Ga for Hispanic Heritage Night. With just two home matches left in the 2021 season, fans can now purchase their 2022 Season Memberships+ which include all USL League One, League Two and W League home matches at Tormenta Stadium.
