Inaugural Father Daughter Gala a Success

Prince Albert SK - Prince Albert's Inaugural Father Daughter Gala was a tremendous success, raising over $5000 for each the Raider Education Fund and the Ronald McDonald house in Saskatoon.

Over 220 people attended the first event of its kind in Prince Albert on Friday night in a decoratively transformed Ches Leach Lounge.

The evening, hosted by Lisa Dutton of Global Saskatoon and her father Jim, included a fully plated meal by Lone Wolf Catering, waited drink service, silent auction, elimination draw, a firsthand testimony on the experience of staying at the Ronald McDonald house and professional photographs by Photography by Laurel for all those in attendance.

The group was also treated to a performance by Double Vision, Canada's only identical twin comedy and magic act that left the audience laughing and amazed at the same time.

The organizing committee would like to their corporate sponsors Lake Boyz RV, Woodland Park, Transwest Air and Clunie Consulting Engineers as well as all those who generously donated items for the silent auction and elimination draw.

Thank you to Joan Barczai, Verna Schnieder, Eryn Tait, Carrie Georgeson, Kim Jackson, Sheldon Craig, Sharon Hopkins, Jan Malenfant, Dennis Ford and Bruce Vance for organizing and putting together the first event of its kind in Prince Albert, and to the over 40 volunteers who made the night possible.
