
Impact Hosting Tryouts for U23 and U18 Teams

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that the club's Academy is organizing tryouts for its U23 and U18 teams, on October 18 and 19.
AAA level players born between 1993 and 1998, interested in joining the Montreal Impact, will have an opportunity to show their skills at a 90-minute session that will take place on the synthetic pitch at Stade Saputo.
Those players kept will then be called to a second session set on October 26. Then, a third and final stage will be held the week of October 27.
It is possible to register for detections via academieimpactmontreal.com, and then by clicking on the tab "recruitment." Registration fees are $55.
The club now has eight players at the professional level, playing in MLS, who were part of the Academy program: goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau, defenders Karl W. Ouimette, Wandrille Lefèvre and Maxim Tissot, midfielders Louis Béland-Goyette, Zakaria Messoudi and Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé, as well as forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel.

Detections for the Impact's sport-études program, for players born between 1999 and 2003, will be held during the first week of January 2015, at the Marie-Victorin Sports Complex. Registration will begin at the end of the month via the academieimpactmontreal.com. The registration fee is also $55.
