MISL ANNOUNCE 2008 CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
FORMAT
The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) formally announced on Wednesday the
format for the 2008 MISL Championship Series, according to the MISL
Commissioner Steve Ryan. The 2008 MISL Championship Series consists of six
(6) of the nine (9) MISL Member Clubs competing in three rounds: the
Quarterfinal Round (April 11-13), the Semifinal Round (April 18-20), and
the Championship Series Final (April 25-27).

IGNITION SELECTS 15 PLAYERS DURING THE 2007 MISL
SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT
The Detroit Ignition selected 15 players during the 2007 Major Indoor
Soccer League Supplemental Draft. The Ignition held the ninth and final
selection in each of the 15 rounds based on the team's MISL-best 18-12
record during the 2006-07 regular season. Draft order was determined by a
team's winning percentage from the 2006-07 regular season with the
Leagues's three expansion teams, the Orlando Sharks, New Jersey Ironmen,
and the newly announced Monterey LA RAZA selecting first, second, and

IGNITION SELECTS CHAD DOMBROWSKI DURING THE 2007 MISL
EXPANSION DRAFT
The Detroit Ignition acquired the playing rights to defender Chad
Dombrowski from the Milwaukee Wave with the second overall selection in
the 2007 Major Indoor Soccer League Expansion Draft. Detroit had acquired
the expansion pick in a previous trade with the California Cougars for

DETROIT IGNITION DANCE TEAM OPEN
TRYOUTS
The Detroit Ignition will be holding Dance Team Open Tryouts at Juliana's
Academy of Dance in Madison Heights on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Tryouts
are open to anyone over the age of 18 by September 1, 2007. Participants
interested should bring close-up and full-body photographs as well as a
resume representing their dance experience. Registration begins at 10AM
with choreography and first cuts to follow. Pre-registration is strongly
recommended.
The Ignition has announced Tequila Rain as the official location of the
2007-08 Dance Team Tryout Final Round on Friday, July 27, 2007. Tequila
Rain is located at the Fountain Walk Plaza in Novi, MI. Judging will begin
at 7:15pm. This year's celebrity judge panel includes WDIV Channel 4 News
Sports Anchor Katrina Hancock, FSN-Detroit's Trevor Thompson, The
Obeserver and Eccentric's Pink Editor Wendsy VonBuskirk, and the Detroit
Ignition's own Matt Johnson. Erin Nicole from ABC Channel 7 will be the
events MC. The night will conclude with the Ignition naming the Spark

OPEN TRYOUTS FOR THE IGNITION
Think you can make it in the Major Indoor Soccer League? The Detroit
Ignition will be holding Open Tryouts on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at
High Velocity Sports from 9am - 5pm. Download your form and register to
participate in open tryouts for Michigan's hottest professional sports
team. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and have graduated
from high school. The MISL features players from over 30 countries as well
as players with World Cup and National experience. Come out and take your
