Team marks
- The Stampede finished with a 26-25 record on the season, a three game improvement in the win column from the previous season.
- The team averaged 44.9 rebounds per game which is a new Stampede record. The previous record was 43.4 per game.
- The team made 381 3-point fields goals this season, a new Stampede record. The previous mark was 354.
- Defensively the team allowed only 103.2 points per game, down from 110.8 the previous year.
- The team had four NBA call-ups. Three with Josh Davis (Milwaukee, Houston and Phoenix) and one with Randy Livingston (Chicago).

Individual marks
- Eric Chenowith was selected to the 2nd team All-League. He led the league in rebounding at 12.7 per game and holds the league's highest amount of rebounds in a game with 29, which also set the Stampede franchise record. He also set the Stampede franchise record for rebounds in a season and a career with 595. Chenowith led the league in double-doubles with 26 games (over half the games played). He was selected to the 2006 CBA Western Conference All-Star Team. Chenowith was selected as the CBA Player of the Week on December 26, 2005.
- Matt Freije was also a 2006 All-Star. He was third on the team in scoring at 19.5 and finished sixth in the league. We was selected as the CBA Player of the Week on January 2, 2006.
- Randy Livingston set the Stampede record (breaking his own) for assists in a game with 23 which was also the league's high mark. He also moved into eighth place all time in the CBA with 1,781 assists. Livingston was named the CBA Player of the Week on March 13, 2006 and capped off the season by being called up by the Chicago Bulls, his eighth all-time, a record in the CBA.
- David Jackson led the Stampede in scoring with 21.0 points per game while he was here. He was selected to the Western Conference All-Star Team and won the 3-point Shootout. He also tied the Stampede record for 3-pointers in a game with eight.
- Coach Wolf set the record for career coaching wins with the Stampede. He finished the year with 49 wins and also got his first playoff win as a coach.
- Jermaine Boyette ties the Stampede record for steals in a game with 7.
- Alpha Bangura wins the Hopkins Financial Slam Dunk Contest.
- Eddy Barlow was eighth in the league in assists per game.

Special Moments
- The Stampede move to downtown Boise's Qwest Arena. Sports fans can now see professional basketball, hockey and boxing in a single venue.
- Ricky Sanchez becomes the youngest player in CBA history to sign a CBA contract and play in a CBA game
- December 23, 2005 - The Laker Girls make a rare CBA appearance when they entertain fans at Qwest.
- December 26, 2005 - Ronny Turiaf makes his professional debut at Qwest Arena for the Yakama Sun Kings. Fans get the chance to see two 2005 NBA draft picks play against each other. Turiaf was selected 37th overall by the Lakers and Sanchez was selected 35th overall by Portland (who then traded him to Denver). Turiaf would play nine games for the Sun Kings before being signed by the Lakers.
- January 14, 2006 - Alpha Bangura, playing his second game in an Idaho Stampede uniform, hit the game-winning basket on a driving bank shot with 1.6 seconds left, giving the Stampede a 108-106 win over the Albany Patroons
- January 17, 2006 - The Athletes.com CBA All-Star Classic is hosted in Boise at Qwest Arena. Fans are treated to a 3-point shootout, slam dunk competition and a great all-star game. On the floor are Randy Holcomb, Stephen Graham, Noel Felix, and James Thomas, all of whom have played in the NBA this season.
- In addition to the four players listed above, fans have also had the chance to see these other players at Qwest whom have all played in the NBA this season: Randy Livingston, Josh Davis, Billy Thomas and Ronny Turiaf.
- February 18, 2006 - Operation Opening Doors comes to a close as players play the game in camouflage uniforms. The program managed to raise over $34,000 for military personnel that were injured while serving their country.
