IceRays Seeking Interns for 2013-14 Season

The Corpus Christi IceRays offer a number of possible interships each season. For the 2013-14 season, the IceRays will be hiring three interns for the year!

GAME OPERATIONS/COMMUNITY RELATIONS INTERN

- Monthly Stiped

Game Operations, duties vary depending on the specific game needs, but will include the set-up and break-down of game day entertainment needs, from the concourse to the ice. Interns will be in charge of post-game actives, such as post-game skate, jersey auctions, post-game autographs, and other duties as assigned. Game Operations interns will be assisting with promotions, event execution and sponsorship fulfillment. Interns are encouraged to develop new ideas that can be used at future home games or events.

Community Relations, duties vary depending on the specific event needs, such as charitable donations, development of relationships with the community, planning and execution of events and other activities and other duties as assigned.

SALES/MARKETING INTERN

- Commission on ALL sales!

Sales / Marketing Intern, to be responsible for the following: solicit new season and group ticket sales. Candidate will be responsible for knowing all the ticket sales products and identifying what product fits the client/fan best. Duties include, outbound calls to sell upcoming events and ticket packages, represent the organization at in-house events and off-site community events promoting tickets, create and maintain database, manage the ticket sales table during home games to assist with customer service and other duties as assigned.

PHOTOGRAPHING INTERN

- Monthly Stipend

Photography Intern will be responsible for photographing game action, on ice activities, fan & mascot interaction, as well as assisting in sponsorship fulfillment. Intern will be tasked with completing a nightly slot list which will include specific group and ceremonies in addition to signage / sponsor promotions and other duties as assigned. Intern must provide his or her own photography equipment capable of securing high-resolution images and upload photos in a timely manner for team use following each game.
