IceRays Announce 2019-20 Regular Season Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Corpus Christi IceRays, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), announced Tuesday the schedule for the 2019-20 NAHL regular season. The team will compete in 60 regular season games in the 22nd season of IceRays hockey and 10th in the NAHL.

The first 11 games of the season, including four at the 2019 NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minn., are on the road before the IceRays take home ice for the Home Opener on Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Odessa Jackalopes. NAHL Showcase opponents will be announced at a later date. All six other South Division teams, including the newcomers, the New Mexico Ice Wolves, will visit the American Bank Center.

One highlight on the home schedule is a New Year's Eve showdown against the Shreveport Mudbugs. Faceoff will be at 5:35 PM and more details will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the 17th annual NAHL Showcase taking place in Minnesota, the NAHL announced Tuesday at that the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament will return to Attleboro, Mass., in February 2020, and the 2020 NAHL Robertson Cup National Championship will take place in May at Fogerty Arena in Blaine, Minn.

The 2019-20 IceRays Promotional Schedule will be announced at a later date.

All Friday and Saturday home games start at 7:05 PM, and Sunday home matinees are at 3:05 PM.
