IceRays Add Defenseman Hruska, Goaltender Komma

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - The Corpus Christi IceRays have announced the signing of defenseman Ladislav Hruska and goaltender Chris Komma.

Hruska, 19, played from 2006 to 2010 for the HC Slavia Praha U18 team where in 125 games played, Hruska scored 16 goals and 24 assists while racking up 343 penalty minutes. In his last season with HC Slavia Praha, he recorded 10 goals and 15 assists in 38 games played. In the 2010-2011 season, Hruska played for the Elliot Lake Bobcats in the GMHL, scoring 10 goals, 24 assists, and received 198 penalty minutes.

Chris Komma, 19, comes from the Boulder Jr. Bison in the WSHL after the IceRays released goaltender Kale Robertson. In eight games played, Komma has a record of 4-2-2 with a goals against average of 4.12 and save percentage of .869.

The IceRays are in action next weekend as they hit the road for two games against the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
