
IceHogs return home after 20-day hiatus

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, members of the United Hockey League, will wrap up their seven-game road swing that will have kept them away from the Rockford MetroCentre for 20-days Wednesday night in Missouri against the River Otters. Rockford will return to home ice this weekend with a pair of games beginning Friday night.
On Friday, the Flint Generals make their first visit of the season to the MetroCentre. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and Friday is the IceHogs Fourth Annual NASCAR Night. The #24 Jeff Gordon Chevrolet Monte Carlo will be on display in the Famous Dave's Hog Heaven Area courtesy of Thompson's Transmissions, FOX39 and Q98.5 FM. Fans can get an up close look at one of racings premier cars before and during Friday's game.
Then on Saturday, the IceHogs host the Kansas City Outlaws at 7:05 p.m. and fans can pick up one of the Hogs most popular promotions. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive an exclusive IceHogs baseball hat sponsored by Wireless One, 104.9 FM, WXRX and 23WIFR.
