LAFAYETTE, LA - Louisiana Icegators have re-signed defensemen Tobias Carlsson for the 2011-2012 season. A native of Ostersund, Sweeden, Carlsson has played two seasons for the IceGators, where he played in all but one game scoring 7 goals, 17 assist, for 24 points.
Coach Kevin Kaminski feels Toby has a lot to offer. Upon Kaminski's arrival Tobias improved his plus/minus by +11. "He has good skill to make solid outlet passes". Kaminski said "He is a well rounded defenseman who just needed some guidance"
