IceGators Agree to Terms with Fan Favorite Dennis Sicard

LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana IceGators have agreed to terms with forward right wing Dennis Sicard for the 2011-2012 season. During his 45 games last season with the IceGators Dennis scored 13 goals with 7 assists for 20 points with 221 penalty minutes (PIM).
On Friday Coach Kevin "Killer" Kaminski stated "this is a BIG signing for us. Denny has so much character and so much to offer as a player and person. He brings relentless energy, passion, heart, grease, grit, toughness and can play the game. His growth as a Professional, from the time I got here till the end of the year was outstanding.
"He will go through the wall for his teammates" and has that no quit "Mentality" attitude. He also is our fan favorite and is amazing in the community with the fans and kids. It's a valuable trait to have at this level. He does more than we ask him to do on and off the ice. The IceGators and the city of Lafayette are fortunate to have him back."
