Niagara IceDogs News Release
Niagara IceDogs General Manager Joey Burke has announced today that Tim MacLean has been hired as the team's newest scout.
Tim will be primarily responsible for scouting the GTA with the main focus being within the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL). Tim previously worked as the top Ontario Area Scout for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League, for the past 11 seasons.
"We are thrilled to be adding someone of Tim's calibre to our scouting staff, his pedigree and knowledge will be invaluable throughout the season, and he continues our strong tradition of having high level scouts evaluating potential IceDogs prospects, and I know he will fit in great with our already strong scouting staff." said GM Burke.
Tim is a very respected, dedicated scout with a strong professional network. He has a proven track record of successful selections and a very strong understanding of the direction the IceDogs are heading.
The Niagara IceDogs are excited to welcome Tim to the organization!
