TORONTO, ON. - Yann Danis turned aside all 24 enemy drives as the St. John's IceCaps shut out the Toronto Marlies 3-0 Sunday afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.

Nikita Scherbak opened scoring in the first period and paced the IceCaps with a goal and an assist. Jacob de la Rose also scored in the first, while Chris Terry potted a powerplay marker - his team-leading 22nd goal - in the third stanza.
