IceBears to Release 2013-14 Schedule

KNOXVILLE, TN - The Knoxville Ice Bears proudly announce the release of the 2013-2014 regular season schedule. The Knoxville Ice Bears will kick off the 2013-2014 SPHL 10th Anniversary season in October for their 12th season of hockey in Knoxville
The Knoxville Ice Bears will start on the road with a match-up against longtime rival Columbus on October 26 at the Columbus Civic Center. The Ice Bears' first home game will be Friday, November 1 as they host the 2013 SPHL Champions, Pensacola IceFlyers.
Key promotional dates for Family Friendly Fun in addition to the opening night are Friday, November 29th for Wiener Dog Races, Saturday, December 28th for Kids Run the Show, Saturday, February 1st for Star Wars Night and Saturday, February 8th for Wiener Dog Races. In addition to the full promotional schedule that will be released later this month - the Ice Bears will enter their third season of $1000 Thursdays. Over the past two season the Ice Bears have given away over $15,000 in cash to lucky fans who came out to enjoy the Family Friendly atmosphere of Knoxville Ice Bears home games.
In part of the off season activities, the Knoxville Ice Bears will be presenting sponsor for the Adopt a Golden Knoxville Charity Golf Classic. The event will be held at Gettysvue Country Club on Monday, August 26, 2013. In preparation for the season, Group, Partial and Season Tickets are now on sale.
