Winnipeg Ice News Release
Following victories over the Regina Pats and Prince Albert Raiders at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena, the Winnipeg ICE lead the East Division with a 4-0 record.
On Saturday, Matthew Savoie had four points while Gage Alexander was perfect on 13 shots in an 8-0 shut out of the Raiders. It was Alexander's first game with the ICE since attending Anaheim Ducks training camp.
Winnipeg now sets their sights on back to back games against Regina Friday and Saturday, followed by the Swift Current Broncos Sunday afternoon. It's the only three in three the ICE will play during the 2021-22 WHL regular season.
On Sunday as we host the Broncos, the ICE will have our first Family Fun Day Game and are dedicating the game to support the efforts of the Movement Centre of Manitoba.

The Winnipeg ICE are teaming up with Bell Media (CTV, 99.9 Bounce FM, CFRW 1290 AM and Virgin Radio 103.1 FM) to share the excitement this season. All regular season and playoff games, presented by Royal LePage Dynamic Real Estate, will be heard on CFRW 1290 AM.
Veteran broadcasters Brian Munz and Kevin Olszewski will bring you all the action starting with a 30 minute pregame show featuring Head Coach James Patrick, ICE players and the latest from around the WHL.
