October 13, 2021 - Western Hockey League (WHL) - Winnipeg Ice News Release

Following victories over the Regina Pats and Prince Albert Raiders at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena, the Winnipeg ICE lead the East Division with a 4-0 record.

On Saturday, Matthew Savoie had four points while Gage Alexander was perfect on 13 shots in an 8-0 shut out of the Raiders. It was Alexander's first game with the ICE since attending Anaheim Ducks training camp.

Winnipeg now sets their sights on back to back games against Regina Friday and Saturday, followed by the Swift Current Broncos Sunday afternoon. It's the only three in three the ICE will play during the 2021-22 WHL regular season.

On Sunday as we host the Broncos, the ICE will have our first Family Fun Day Game and are dedicating the game to support the efforts of the Movement Centre of Manitoba.

The Winnipeg ICE are committed to supporting youth in our community and by purchasing a ticket to our game on Sunday you will be supporting the incredible initiatives for youth through the movement centre.

If you would like to enjoy a day out or perhaps purchase tickets and transfer them to friends and family please use the promo code MVMT and proceeds of every purchase using this code will go towards the Movement Centre of Manitoba.
