Ice to Rock out 2003 with Blessid Union of Souls

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indianapolis Ice is excited to announce that Blessid Union of Souls will be on stage for a post-game concert following the team's game on Saturday (12/27) against the Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum.

Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, top 40 recording artist Blessid Union of Souls are this year's featured performers on the team's annual "Holiday Relief Night." The modern rock quintet plays a song-oriented mix of pop, R&B and folk music.

The band broke out in 1995 with their first hit singles, "I Believe" and "Let Me Be the One." Both songs were top five hits and "I Believe" was honored at the 1995 ASCAP Awards for being the fourth most played song of 1995. The debut album labeled Home became an international bestseller and their three follow-up albums enjoyed similar success. Other hit songs from the group include "Oh Virginia" and "Hey Leonardo (She likes me for me)."

In addition to the post-game concert, this year's Holiday Relief promotion will include discounted concession items, prize give-aways and one lucky fan will be selected to burn their credit card statement at center ice as the Ice retire their debt (up to $1,500).
