Indianapolis Ice News Release

INDIANAPOLIS- The Indianapolis Ice will be hosting a "Teddy Bear Toss" on Saturday, November 29th when the Ice battles the Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum.

This fun and worthwhile event will take place during the second intermission of the game as the fans will have the opportunity to toss the bears on the ice to help benefit the Indianapolis Police Department's "Bear's on Patrol" Program. This program allows I.P.D. officers to give teddy bears to children in stressful situations.

The bears will be available at the team's next two home games (11/27 and 11/29) and can be purchased at the Ice Booster Club Table and at the Ice Information booth for $6. In addition, bears are also available for pre-sale by contacting the Indianapolis Ice front office at (317) 925-4423. All bears are welcome for the event, but any bear purchased through the Indianapolis Ice will be eligible for prizes from RCA and the Ice.

Tickets for the game featuring the "Teddy Bear Toss" range from $10-$15 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including select Marsh Supermarkets, Karma Records, select L.S. Ayres and the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices or by calling 239-5151 or online at ticketmaster.com.
