LAST GAME - 4-1 LOSS IN EDMONTON: It took a couple minutes for the teams to get a feel for each other. Just about five minutes into the game, the teams started to trade chances. The ICE went 0-1 on the power play in the first period which lead to a deadlock at 0 after one period of play.

It was more of the same in the first 10 minutes of the second period. The Oil Kings Souch opened the scoring on a great passing play off the rush just passed the halfway point of the game. The Oil Kings would then be on a two man advantage and they didn't take long to strike. Riley Sawchuk sent a one time blast past the ICE net minder to give the Oil Kings a 2-0 lead.

Edmonton started the third period on the power play and took 40 seconds to strike to make it 3-0 for the home team. Michal Teply got the ICE on the board at the 4:47 mark on a great play from Michael Milne and Jackson Leppard to bring the ICE within two. The Oil Kings would add an empty net goal to close this one out by a final of 4-1.
