Ice Present Key Bank Pack The House Night

INDIANAPOLIS - The East Division-leading Indiana Ice will carry their winning ways on the hockey rink to the charitable oval when the team hosts Key Bank "Pack the House for Charity Night" presented by Conseco on Saturday, February 23rd as the Ice take on the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at 7:05 p.m. from Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Ice is partnering this year with The Villages, Indiana's largest child and family services nonprofit agency, serving over 1,200 children and their families daily. As the state's largest therapeutic foster care provider, The Villages offers a statewide continuum of care that addresses the needs of abused, neglected, and abandoned children.
Another customary tradition continues this season as the Ice players will once again be wearing special commemorative jerseys designed by children from Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on the game-worn jerseys throughout the evening and each of the commemorative jerseys will be autographed by Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, with all proceeds benefiting the hospital.
"Pack the House Night" is in its 14th year of existence and has provided the Ice the opportunity to give back to the communities throughout Central Indiana. The Ice join forces with local organizations to help them raise money for their cause and each organization receives a portion of all ticket sales for the night generated by their efforts. Past groups have included Agape, United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation and the United Way's "Imagination Library" program last season.
Since the Ice began play in the USHL in 2004-05, the "Pack the House Night" contest is the most-attended game for Tier 1 Junior Hockey in all of North America each year. The previous three years have drawn over 13,500 people and are the top three hockey crowds all-time for the USHL.
