Fort Collins, CO- The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football team will go on the road to battle the undefeated Sioux Falls Storm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This will be the first meeting between the Ice and the Storm in the 2012 season.
In last week's game against the Tri-Cities Fever, the Ice were left with a disappointing loss. The Fever and the Ice were consistently within a few points of each other and the Ice held the lead for the majority of the game.
A few errors by the Ice allowed the game to go into overtime and they were left with a loss, 49-52.
The Ice Offense is currently averaging 50.4 points per game and roughly 231 yards per game. Defensively, the Ice are only letting 40.5 points slip by them per game and have totaled an impressive 19 interceptions this season.
The Sioux Falls Storm clinched the top seed in the Indoor Football League with their victory over the Wyoming Cavalry. Against the Cavalry, the Storm totaled 268 yards and Storm QB totaled 5 touchdowns. Their solid performance was no match for the Cavalry.
