Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE head onto the road for the second time this season and face the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MT.

The ICE are coming off of a 3-2 loss to the Regina Pats on Friday, October 12. Cam Hausinger and Jaeger White potted the goals for the ICE. Peyton Krebs collected an assist, which extended his point streak to six-straight games. ICE goaltender Duncan McGovern made 24 saves in the loss. The ICE outshot Regina 31-27. The ICE went 1-for-5 on the power play, 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and won 19-of-65 face-offs.
The ICE have amassed six points, which is good for fifth in the Central Division and ninth in the Eastern Conference.

The Tigers continue a three-game homestand when they welcome the ICE on Saturday, October 13. This will be the Tigers' fourth home game of the season. The Tigers are coming off of a 4-1 victory over the Prince George Cougars on Friday. Ryan Jevne picked up two goals in the win while Linus Nassen and Tyler Preziuso scored the others. Goaltender Mads Sogaard stopped 22-of-23 shots that came his way. The Tigers outshot the Cougars 30-23. They went 1-for-5 on the power play, 5-for-5 on the penalty kill and won 28-of-57 face-offs.
The Tigers have collected nine points, which is good for third in the Central Division and sixth in the Eastern Conference.
HEAD TO HEAD
This is the second time the ICE and the Tigers have faced each other this season. On Thanksgiving Monday, the ICE skated away with a 5-0 victory over the Tigers at Western Financial Place.
The ICE are 1-9-1-0 in the last 11 games against the Tigers at Canalta Centre. Overall, both home and away, the ICE are 4-16-2-0 in the last 22 games against the Tigers.
