INDIANAPOLIS- The Indiana Ice announced today that Hayden Stewart has committed to playing collegiate hockey at Cornell University. The Cornell Big Red are an NCAA Division I member of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC).

The Rockford, IL joins forward Dwyer Tschantz in the Cornell prospect pool, while current Icemen already playing for the Ithaca, NY institution include Brian Ferlin (09-11) and Christian Hilbrich (10-12).

Stewart has been on a goaltending tear since joining the Indy roster in mid-January. In six contests with the Ice, he has recorded a perfect 6-0-0 record and a 0.67 GAA with a .971 save percentage in six contests.
